CT scan this morning ...

Good afternoon. Still windy, enough to knock you down!
The CT was this morning. We got there at 7:20 am and were leaving before 10 am. I did not even feel the needle when they started the IV hep lock - and they used an 18 gauge needle! The contrast is pretty nasty tasting like last time, but it was easier to drink (for some reason) this time. The scan was done on a GE Light Speed CT scanner. It did not take as long.
No results as of yet. We will meet with Dr. Peter Pisters tomorrow.

We have put our confidence in God. It's not the amount of faith you have ( Jesus said even faith the size of a mustard seed was enough), it's the amount of doubt you have. Remove the doubt, force it out by putting the Word of God in it's place. The Word of God creates faith, " faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ". (NAS) Romans 10:17. Remember " F I D O " - Faith In - Doubt Out. If you fill a container to the brim with the desired contents (faith), there will be no room for any other thing (doubt). If your cup is full of faith, then you gain more faith, it will then begin to spill over into your saucer and then it splashes over onto those around you. We are standing in the confidence that God is in total control. Period. And the prayer requests sent to us - we have been praying for. Thankyou for praying with us concerning our present situation.

A special note to all of my friends and Doctors at work - CVT Vascular and Surgical - I miss you all. Thankyou so much for your support.

As soon as we find out any results we will post them. In Christ, GW/RW.

" Face God with the problem, then face the problem with God."

Hello, When I read your message I cried knowing the Lord has done such an awesome work in you! Your faith to stand!
As Lynn said, your saucer has splashed onto me too...more in that when I want to grumble and complain conviction comes...Rejoicing in difficulties isn't easy. Pray for Wil, he is overwelmed with the tasks at hand...pray for me to have more sensitivity as a wife, mother and business woman!
The "aroma" and "anointing" spills out every time I tap into "The Secret Place of Elyon" thank you for letting us in and trusting us! We love you! The Howells

Hi,

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:..." Ecclesiates 3:1

Though this may be a season of winter for you, I agree that this season will surely end soon, and that spring is very near as Traut prophesied...

My uncle planted an entire garden this past summer with seeds he found in my grandmother's freezer. Since my grandfather has been dead for more than a decade and hadn't farmed more than a decade before that, these seeds had to be at least 24-30 years old. The seeds had indeed survived a very long "winter", but each produced a very fruitful harvest, each multiplying innumerable times. God has certainly called you from a life of activity to a season of winter in order to draw you close and those surrounding you, too. He is about to multiply your harvest. With these five days, He has given you a glimpse of spring. I am praying that your summer is just around the corner, and your fruit will abound...

Hey :>)
George you write so beautifully. Ditto on the splashing of your faith onto us. How encouraging. I'm so glad that the test was easier this time. PTL! I read something today that I thought would encourage you, "The Task AHEAD of you is never as great as the POWER behind you." Eph. 6:10, "Be strong in the Lord and in the POWER of His Might."
Hi Robin, You are such a support and strength to George and the children. I thank God for your faith and how the Lord prepared you for this very hour. What a testimony you both have! I'm thankful for your love for the Lord and each other. :>)
We'll keep in touch, all our love and prayers,
Pastor Don and Eileen
P.S. Please keep us in prayer as we have not been sleeping very well for quite some time. Thanks. :>)

"Lord Jesus, you suffered and gave Your life so that we could be saved spiritually and be joined with You through all eternity. Thank you so much for the Free Gift. We humbly accept Your Free Gift which produces joy and peace in our hearts for all time!

We believe in miracles! We believe You still provide miracles in our time. We have heard evidence of miracles, even within our own friends and family. We would surely rejoice in a miraculous outcome in tomorrow's report, if it is within Your will.

Amen."

Tomorrow brings another door through which we must pass. No matter what news we receive from the doctor, we will praise God, for we know it is His perfect will at work. If God allows it, we will be with you EVERY step of the way. We love you very much!

George & Robin, We love you. You've gotten me on the internet more than email! I'm always wanting to see what George has to say! Don't know if he told you or not, but Sunday morning, worship began and Jack leaned over to me and said, "I have to go worship in George's place." And he did...the whole time! That may not sound like much to most people, but we know it was warfare in your behalf!
Don't know if you've read Micah or Nahum lately, but there's some good stuff in there. God first spoke to me out of them in Aug., 2004. Micah 7:7-8 - But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. though I fall I will rise; though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me. And Nahum 1:7-8 - The Lord is good. A stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him. But with an overflowing flood, He will make a complete end of its site, and will pursue His enemies into darkness. In my bible, these scriptures are on facing pages, so it's really cool. They have fed me for a year and a half. Be encouraged, my friends. God is watching over you with a caring eye. Love, Bev

Every time I get on this site I am blessed by not only what God is doing in the Waites family, but the Ryder family and really just the family, and how many people are speaking the word over your lives. This is what the body is for. So that in time of attack, we come together in battle. And as people battle for you, they are fending off their own fiery darts, too. I can only imagine how awesome it must be to know you can rest in comfort knwing that so many of your brothers and sisters are standing around you holding up your armor and surrounding you with the LIVING WORDS of God. Whose report will you believe? The life giving report of the Lord. Now go and inhabit your promises.

Love you all so much,
Stacie

PS Happy late 15th birthday Lauren

MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG
"Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and not be afraid:
for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2

We know Jehovah is our "STRENGTH" but do we make Him also our "SONG"? As we make Him so and sing of Him, we lose our fear. We are able to "trust" and not be afraid," only as we sing of Him. Our Redeemer is our "STRENGTH". Make Him your "Song" today.
You are in my thoughts and prayers knowing that the Lord is in the "center" of your "heart"! Be encouraged and sing of His great love for you!!!! Sonja Howell
