Late night confirmation ...

Quick note. We are looking for confirmation concerning my diagnosis and the scheduled surgery. We believe God is in control and that He can heal in many ways but we have " made our requests known to God who is not only the Author of our faith but also the Finisher of our faith." I guess you could say I am fleecing God ( very reverently ) to make triple sure, that this surgery is the path of healing. Intercessors, lay this before the Lord if you would.

Thank you. George and Robin

" let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. "
Philippians 4: 6-7

Hey BrotherMan,
I finally got on the website... no this is not from my treo, but from the desk at the house. The Girls say they're prayin for ya. And you know I am, too. Back when Michelle's grandfather had surgery for colon cancer, we had this overwhelming peace and knowing that all would be well. I pray this for you. a KNOWING for every step! I love you, man.

I'm going to chime in w/ Randy... On that peace in place of fear "scripturizing" ( i made that word up!)
... Psalm 27
The Lord is my Light and my Salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?...

Thou hast said, "Seek ye my face."
My heart says to thee,
"Thy face,Lord, do I seek."
Hide not thy face from me...

Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let you heart take courage;
yea, wait for the Lord!

Later,
Mark

George & Robin, we stand in agreement with you for triple confirmation that surgery is the path. Isaiah 35 became our prayer room scripture for WDW. It's too long to quote here, but add it to your reading collection. Verse 7b, regarding the jackals, that's where the tumor has been resting. You are walking the Highway of Holiness, my friends. We love you. Bev ortego6@yahoo.com

Hi My Friends, :>)
PTL! for another CAT Scan!!!! God You Are Awesome! That is exactly what you wanted Robin and God knew that! He LOVES you all so very much as if you were the only ones on the face of the earth. You are special to Him!!
Don wrote his weekly letter to our Prayer Partners and I just had to share it with you. I was so excited about it. I pray it encourages you too. LOVE YOU MUCH,
Eileen
Good afternoon Prayer Partner,

1-Acts 12:4-5 says;" So when he [Herod] had arrested him, he put him [Peter] in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. 5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

2-This account in the book of Acts gives us a picture of the early Church unified and focused in prayer with the purpose of Peter's deliverance!

3-Prayer for Peter at this time was (no doubt) initiated by the Holy Spirit for God's plan to be fulfilled and His name to be glorified. God had a plan for Peter's life.

4-Verse 7 says; "Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, "Arise quickly!" And his chains fell off his hands." Jesus heard the prayers of the Church and delivered Peter!

5-Tomorrow, George Waites was going to face pancreatic surgery but he and Robin wanted another Cat Scan before his surgery so they prayed last night telling the Lord that they would not ask for one but asked the Lord to work it out. This morning the Doctor called and said that he wanted another cat scan! Praise God!

6-Tomorrow I am asking our Prayer Partners to pray for George. I believe the Holy Spirit will orchestrate believing prayer through us (as well as other believers who know and love him). How can constant prayer go up for him? Just think; 100 people each spending 1/2-hour for George. That's 50 hours in a 24-hour day! That's constant prayer!

7-We do serve the same God that answered the prayers of the early Church!

Bless you,

Our home was burglarized today just as God was taking care of George. He was also taking care of us. As it turns out, the police had already captured the men who were breaking into homes. They really didn't take much: a few dollars in change and some cheap jewelry.

We thanked God that Sonya and the kids weren't home. We asked God to touch the burglers' hearts and save their souls. And then we forgave them. Satan has no power in our home when we are seeking the Lord! "Thank you, Lord Jesus!"

George & Robin, we have been lifting you and your children up in prayer. God's name is already being glorified through your unyielding faith in Him.
We are believing God along with you for a mighty miracle from our Mighty God!!!

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Rom. 15:13

"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield." Psalm 5:11,12
