Get to drink the 'happy juice' tomorrow and surgery the next day. Here are some thoughts on the greatness of God and the salvation He offers to "whosoever believes".
God never said we would be without pain and suffering in this present age, but He did promise to be with us in the midst of the challenges and storms which life invariably brings to our door step. He is even with us when we bring these things upon ourselves through sin or disobedience. How great a Salvation! How great is the love of the Father! If He went to such great lengths to save us by His great love even while in our sin, is not that same love extended towards us after salvation? Never deny God the freedom to forgive you and love you – regardless of the situation. Forgive 7 x 70 Jesus said, all we have to do is ask.
He can turn water into wine and sorrow into joy! He is our source, provider, defender, encourager, comforter and friend. He has never known defeat – the Cross was not defeat – He even planned that for our sake. Do we need to be reminded about the Resurrection? No foe can defeat Him, not even death and no god can stand before Him. He does not sleep or slumber and He is always on time. He is our remedy, our medicine for the sickness known as ‘self’. He is our calm in the storm, our peace in turmoil. He is our hope and our future. He is Immanuel – God with us! Oh! How great a salvation!

Good morning Prayer Partner,
1-Eileen and I will be leaving shortly for MD Anderson hospital in Houston to be with the Waites family during George's surgery.
2-His surgery is scheduled for early Wednesday morning. I am asking you to cover him and his family in prayer during the time of the surgery which is expected to last most of the day.
3-Several have shared with me that they have sensed that they have been led primarily to give praise to the Lord for what He is going to do in and through this situation. I have also sensed this same leading.
4-Whether prayer or praise. The Holy Spirit will reveal to each Prayer Partner how He wants them to flow individually in the spirit of intercession.
5-Rom 8:27 says; And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. My heart wants to be there with you so much but I know my prayers are. I am so thankful that you have such a strong support system and that so many are covering you with the Word. Be still and know! (Robin, can't you see Jeff Feinholdt wrapping that mic cord?). Let the Word be fresh and life giving as it is meant to be. I love you and KNOW that everything is and will continue to be okay.
"Heavenly Father -
We love George, and we are constantly praying for him to receive Your Peace. It is Your Peace and Love that will get George through this. Tomorrow is, of course, an important day for all of us.
Praise You, Lord, that the cancer did not increase in size or spread. This is the Blessing we must not overlook. I believe You are working through Dr. Pisters, as evidenced by the postponement.
As much as we do not want George to have to go through surgery and recovery, we thank You that much more that the cancer is resectable.
We are all in Your will, and we pray specifically for Your Peace and for Your Healing Touch through Dr. Pisters and his staff. Please provide a swift, painless recovery for George as he moves with faith in Your Promises through this door.
Lord, please use Robin, Your faithful servent, to provide that support to George that he needs. Father, also help the family and friends who are in Houston to support both Robin and George with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
