You ain't gonna believe this . . . .

Friday night the kids slept over again ('camped out' by the fire place) and you know what happened with the loss of cookies. Then, another one started coughing and weezing - we think he had a reaction to some food at the wedding, maybe the pecans in the cake icing. Be that as it may, we got him taken care of. Not too long after that the phone rang. My father-in-law went in A-fib and had to go th the ER. After some time and testing he converted - no not to the "Hary Chrishners" - rather his heart rhythm converted back to a normal beat. Today (Sat.) he is okay and should be coming home Monday morning. What is strange is that about 15 minutes after finding out about his A-fib, I started having some funny heart activity. Not as bad as I had at M.D. Anderson, but similar. This is still going on - - on/off throughout the day.

I spoke with my mother Saturday only to find out that her sister's house was broken into. This is the sister that came to N.O. to help mom around the house while she was recovering from the surgery. Ain't that just the devil himself. This has been quite a year. Well, like Margie told me back in December 2005 when all of this started -
Romans 8:28 Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Together is the key word. Individually these things are not pleasant, fun nor does it make any sense, but in the long run and together, God is working things out. That is where trust and faith comes in.
Time to hit the sack.
George

I've been hearing reports of an increase of break'ins in N.O. lately. Tell your sister to be careful.

We have fought some of the same fights! And we are overcomers through Jesus Christ!
