coming home.....

I talked with George today. He has had a weeks worth of tests and Dr.'s appt. He met with the oncologist today who said that the care that George has received here has been excellent. He stated that he wouldn't have done anything any different. So it seems that he really didn't have anything to offer George.

George sounded great on the phone. He has resolved that his miracle is coming and he is excited about coming home. They are leaving tomorrow so they will be home sometime late Saturday or on Sunday.

We have stood believing since the beginning of this journey and we don't intend to change our posture now. If anything we stand stronger. We expect to see God do something that only He can do. Knowing that we have a church body that is willing to stand in the face of adversity and hold the line with us is so encouraging. It truly is warfare. We must hold the line as the enemy insists on grabbing what is not his. This is kingdom stature and kingdom dynamics. If we truly understand that there are kingdoms warring then we would be quicker to see what is necessary to stand our ground instead of accepting things the enemy is doing around us and to us .

Let me make this clear. Although God may allow things in our lives and use things for His glory and teach us things if we are willing to learn, disease is wicked. Cancer is wicked. The Lord has shown me a comparison of cancer and the devil. Cancer is known to cloak itself so the body cannot recognize it and defend itself against the invasion. Cancer is the bodies own cells that have been reprogrammed and replicate themselves and eventually kill the whole body and itself in the process. Cancer has a will of its own and does not submit to the health of the body. Do you see the correlation. There is nothing, not one thing good about cancer. But I will admit that there is good that can come from the journey if your submitted to God.

We have specifically prayed and ask you to join us in prayer that the cancer cells reveal themselves so the body can fight it. We have commanded in Jesus name for the cells to submit to the authority of Christ. God created the concept of the cell. The design is His. We have done, and will continue to do warfare on many levels. We have prayed about things in the spiritual realm, and natural realm. And above all pray for souls and the advancement of the kingdom of God. I have gone back and read some of the old posts from last year and have found much encouragement in them again. I had forgotten some of the things over time and found strength for the journey in remembering things the Lord said last year.

I love you,
Robin

Holding the line until faith becomes sight! Psalm 119:112 "My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end."

you've gotta read "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" by Dr. Paul Brand and Philip Yancey, if you haven't already!
even just reading the first chapter has amazed me and opened my eyes to the parallel of the spiritual body and the physical body...and how "we" can be like cancer cells in the body.
let me know if you read it...I'd love to know your thoughts on it.

love y'all! and standing with you in prayer!!

Robin,
First of all I want to say that I am soooo proud to know a friend like you. Your faith in the Lord WILL stand (even though at times we may all go through a time of it's testing)

What you wrote is so true.
Warfare is at hand. The enemy has launched an incredible army of demons sent to LIE to the Lord's children. We must begin to accept and embrace WHO we are IN Christ and walk in that authority and disarm the lies of the enemy.

No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you (we as a body) will refute EVERY tongue that accuses (or rises) against you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17)

We, the Howell's are lining our faith up with yours (standing in agreement to what the Lord has shown you personally)and that's that.

Psalm 119:116-117
Sustain George according to your promise, and he will live; do not let his hopes (or Robin's) be dashed.
Uphold him, and he will be delivered; he will always have regard for your decrees. (He will give You the Glory, O'Lord).

Our prayer!!!!!!!

PUSHing (Praising Until Something Happens in NEW grace)

I am standing and believing with you both until the miracle comes. Thanks for the update. I see such growth in your walk with the Lord and even though at times we may doubt you still stand strong as a mighty army fighting for the healing of your husband. What an awesome thing the Lord has done in your marriage. Reach out and touch the hem of His garment. The healing is coming I believe and I am standing with the Waites family. Love you Gayle

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share a little something with yall that a friend of mine e-mailed me. I am having to translate from Spanish so I cannot send you the e-mail. The shortest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 117, the longest is Psalms 119. The chapter that is the middle of the Bible is Psalms 118. There are 594 chapters before it and 594 chapters after it. 594+594=1188. The verse which falls in the middle of the Bible is Psalms 118:8. "It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in man". Well I think you can see where I am going here. Know that you have friends that love you and are standing, praying and believing with you.

Lord allow this testimony of faith which my brother, George, has displayed become a testimony of healing in Your Precious Name. Amen.

God Bless,

Paul S.
