Queen....

Friday night was homecoming. Lauren was crowned queen for 07-08. She was absolutely beautiful. Saturday was the homecoming banquet. She went with a nice young man and had a blast with her friends. They hung out at the house until Sunday at 7:30 a.m. I actually pulled an all-nighter. It was an incredibly busy week and now things will slow down a little. Granny and Paw-Paw came in and stayed the weekend with us. It was great to see them as always.

The chickens are in full swing delivering eggs everyday. Yesterday we got 10 eggs from 10 chickens 100% production, George would be proud of his ladies.

God is on the throne and HE is in control. We trust Him daily and lean on Him moment by moment. Stay plugged in to what God wants to do through you.

Robin,
How exciting that was to have your daughter crown queen not that she is not a queen already in the eyes of the Lord. I know that you are so proud of what you and George has accomplish in her life. You have a beautiful daughter. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Robin,
Please congratulate Loren for us and tell her how proud we are of her inner beauty, character and warmth. That is on top of her outward beauty and grace. George is smiling indeed.
We love you all.

Wow! Lauren was beautiful last Friday and Saturday evenings. She must get her good looks from George (Ha!Ha! -- Lauren would be the first to admit that the outward appearance isn't the substance of the person, but the soul.) I'm sure Lauren was elected queen, not only for her appearance, but even more so for her humbleness and generous nature (other qualities learned from her father/Father). I suppose with the passing of time, I'm seeing more of George in the children than ever before. I pray that they will never forget his memory or integrity with the passing of time, and that those memories of him will remain vivid in their minds. Losing a father so young must be extremely difficult. I pray for you all that you will be able to take this experience and bless others as you have been blessed by so many others.

"If we live each day to the fullest and seek opportunities God brings into our path then we can affect eternity in the here and now." -- Robin

I know that's your desire...Bless away!
