George is on the go....

Well George has now lapped the nurses station at least 15 times. Of course, we all know George is the type that if you tell him he needs to do it 1 time he will do 10. But that is good because that determination along with his awesome trust in our Lord is what is going to see him through. The pain is much better today. More, later.

We have been prayerfully following your progress. God is good and has shown us His MERCY. He who created us IS ABLE! We thank Him also for giving doctors and nurses a desire to do what they do and gifting them with the ability to do it. We all have a purpose. We love you and are looking forward to your recovery.

That is great George!
I'm with Lynn on the prayers, although my story may be more of an angel encounter.
Wednesday I was vacumming the living room floor, Jonah was watching a video in the other room. As I was praying for your surgery to go well, I heard a strange noise and turned off the vacumm. Jonah was crying...went in to check on him, he had thrown up all over the floor(excuse the graphics)and in the middle of his "stuff" was a penny!!! Close call! He obviously choked on it and gasped for air, got none and started coughing it up! I just thank the Lord he was able to and no emergency took place. I reassured him all was well but made it clear "you don't put pennies in the mouth" however, we need to get better about scanning the floors more often too!!!
Wil say's "hello and God's speed to you brother"....he is so relieved you are doing well.
Pray for him though you know how he is...concience even more now of any "stange" aches or pains!!!
Pray for Lani's husband John. I delievered a plant to him at OLOL, they are not sure yet what is going on....(sound familiar?)possibly a blockage.
Rest well tonight, both of you!!!
Keep up the good report.
Love,
The Howells

As I listen to Lauren play a fairly difficult piano piece Robert helped her with, I wonder if maybe she would want to try it again. She has talent!

Now she's in there giggling like she did when she was little. Robert's being goofy on the Clavinova, and she's laughing until her stomach hurts...

Vivian just came in with Kenny. There goes Chloe barking again. She just doesn't know how to treat her guest... ;-)

Sonya, Bryan, and Johnathan are at Zoar for a K-5 youth Hawaiian Luau where they're having food and fun.

The rest of us just got back from Mimi's where we had soft tacos and taco salads. It won't be long, brother, you'll be eating like that again. Can't wait to cook you a nice lean steak!

God has truly blessed our family, and we need to always treasure the time He's given us here. God's plan is perfect. How did he know to give us spouses so we could learn love & passion, children so we could learn unconditional love, jobs so we could learn that we have been given talents, brother-in-law's with cancer so we could find our way again, and this life so we could get a glimpse of His Glory?? Thank you, Lord!!

Thank you, George, for being the kind of person who WOULD WILLINGLY go through this if you knew it would save a soul. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Jesus has received MANY new sheep through this, and, of course, He's rounded up a few that had gone astray...

I can't wait 'til ya'll get home...

Love you both!!

I can't begin to tell you how blessed I am every time I check this blog. I find myself checking probably a few too many times during the day because there is always something posted that touches my heart. Randy, how awesome it is to read your entries and to be able to see what God is pulling out of your heart. That is the Randy who I had many lenghty conversations with. It is incredible to have the privelage to share life with this family. Robin, Keep up the good nursing. George will be taking care of you soon.

George (my dear little brother),
I hope you can see me! I am still STANDING at the foot of your bed with both feet PLANTED FIRMLY IN PLACE knowing that "all things are working TOGETHER . . ." It seems like only yesterday I was with you and Robin at The Lake sharing that vision with you.

Since we know there is no limitation of time and space with Our God, I know that if it helps, you can even now picture me there again, only this time as I STAND, my hands are not clasped together in prayer but they are LIFTED HIGH IN PRAISE!

And wait, what was that great rush of wind, oh my, it was you George going right by me as you ran another lap on your appointed course. May Almighty God continue to rain down upon you as you run your race in such a brilliant and inspiring way.

Loving you and Robin dearly,

Your big sis (only you can call me big) Margie

George,
Well, last time I tried to use this sight, if you remember, I lost my whole wonderful message in outer space somewhere. Now I seem to have gotten so good at this stuff that my messages are appearing twice. I wouldn't attach any special spiritual signifance to that if I were you, it's just that now I know how to send but not to cancel. You better get home soon so I can talk to you in person.
I'm so sorry I took up so much space . . . and am continuing to do so with this explanation.
Margie
