Now that George has stepped over into eternity, I have decided to keep his blog going. I want his words from the last two years to be able to bring comfort to those who find this blog or those who choose to rewalk the journey by reading it again.

I cannot get the blog to post on the site for some reason, it continues to give me an error message. It's too long to type again and too late. I'll work on it tomorrow. GW.

George, this is your mothers cousin in Alabama. I really enjoy your comments, and look forward to reading them everyday. You are a wonderful young man. I pray you will be healed. I also know that Gods will is what we want. Patsy & Eva are related on Aunt Mary's side. My Dad "Monroe" was her brother. They were real close. We only lived about a mile apart. I am 42 years old. Early December of 2005, I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Hence the motivation for this site. I am married with 2 children and excited about what God has in store for us all in the future. I had a successful "whipple" surgery 2/15/2006. I am now receiving chemotherapy. New findings: In late July 2006, about 4 small spots were found on the liver. A new regimen of chemo drugs was being given to stop these mets. This proved to be not too successful. We continue to stand in Faith, trusting God for a complete healing. Healing happened but not here. George went home to be with his friend Jesus. I keep this blog going in his memory.
