91 degrees F ...

I passed an electric sign today which shows the time and temp. and it read 91 degrees F. In the shade with a breeze I found it to be okay, but if you are in the sun with no breeze it feels like good ole' Louisiana summer time weather. Time to get out the sunscreen. Did you know that on the Jewish calender we are in the month of ' NISAN '?
I found 3 varieties of Blueberries (Tifblue, Climax, Premier) at Louisiana Nursery to round out to 10 the number to be planted. I have heard having more than one variety increases the yeilds. We will see. That Nursery is a nice one to visit if you need anything for the yard or garden.
Thanks to Wil, I was able to get the Dingo auger machine back to the rental place early this morning. We had a good visit on the way there and back. I rented it from a place off of Airline Hwy - almost to Prarieville - as you know that is a long way from where I live. It was well worth it, especially since he was the only place with an available machine.
Public schools are closed for the holiday this week so traffic was on the lighter side. Have any of you used the new system on Airline at the Seigen/Sherwood Forest intersection? It's a weird design but is supposedly expedites the traffic more efficiently.
We need to pray for rain. Things are getting crispy. We also need to pray for God's will to be done. Please remember to pray for Michael H., Jill H., Christi W., Lloyd Kogel – all battling cancer and/or recovery and little Austin Barber (heart/lung transplant). Thank you. Continue to have a blessed week. GW.

Blueberry picking is coming soon! Wil and I want you guys to come with us and "papa" early one morning! You get loads of blueberries 5o cents a pound!
Glad you got your trees planted! Yes, we do need rain!
Thanks again for treating my hand and knowing what to do.
It's still "ugly" looking but I know that is all apart of the healing!
