Shopping - I have made some of the most important purchases - finally. It just takes some time to figure out what to get. Then the thought of "I wonder if I could get this cheaper at the other store"? But then, you would have to not buy it at the first store, go to the other store (fighting traffic and finding a parking spot) and check their price - if it is more expensive, it is back to the first store. Hopefully, the thing you wanted is still there to buy and not sold out. Now I see why some people do there Christmas shopping during the Summer months.
I am now the proud owner of a new crown - on one of my teeth that is. I was in and out within an hour. Now that is a modern miracle. I just cannot eat sticky stuff or floss for 24 hours.
I did not see it, but I hear there was a fight at the Nuggets vs. Knicks game. That just goes to show you that more money (big salaries) does not make a better man. I am not against people being paid commensurate to their skills level, but this is rediculous. You pay me a 1/2 million dollars per game and I think I might possibly be able to control my temper.
I meet with my naturopathy doctor this week to go over blood work, etc. It should be interesting.
Me, my father and brother-in -law, Paul, Greg and Bill went to see the movie "Apocolypto". Not exactly what any of us expected. I would not recommend it to any kids, women or any guys with a weak stomach. Most of the middle to end of the movie is action. There is a good message woven throughout the movie about love for family, not giving up or allowing fear to "infect" your soul as the main characters father put it. Man's inhumanity to man is all throughout and reminds the viewer that we live in a fallen world that needs Jesus. I understand that all cultures have a right to develop and all cultures have their flaws, but some do not deserve to continue based upon their destructive practices. So read up on he movie befroe you go and see it. It moves very quickly and you don't realize that over two hours have passed.
Two prayer requests - a friend of mine from work is recovering from surgery (cancer), her name is Debbie. She is the fourth person from my work to have been diagnosed with cancer. The surgery went well I hear. And also Robin's cousin Barbara is in the hospital still with an infection. Thanks.
Remember, "don't let the stress of the season make a mess of the season."

I want to tell you how proud I am of you. In the midst of this trial and hardship called "c" you are growing in quantum leaps in the spiritual realm and relationally with God and others. Because you are reaching outside of yourself at a time when many turn inward and pull away to deal with their pain and fear you have chosen the Christ-like path which is a blessing to many. Keep up the great walk of faith for the glory of our heavenly Father and Jesus who is worthy.
