Time to get up . . .

"Is it time to get up already?" I can just hear what he is thinking. This is another shot from the nest box of litter #1 which is 13 days old in this pic. If ya'll get tired of cute bunny pics, let me know and Ill show ya'll some other pics from around the farm.

I am going into "S.O."this morning (scriptural overload). There are so many great verses, that I cannot decide what to put on the blog. That is a good thing, as Martha S. would say.

The Saints lost, as you probably already know. I was bumming out a little, but I am thankful for such a great season this year, the best we have ever had since the team was formed. There is always next year . . .

Here is one of Carole's many favorite quotes "..all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us" Gandalf LOTR. (that stands for 'Lord of the Rings' or 'Left over Turkey remnants'?).

Here are some good words to think on at the beginning of the day:
Psalm 25:4-5
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths;
5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 37:3-5
3Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;

We, the team that is, needs to be prayed up tonight. We have a Starky vs. Hosanna basketball game. They are our main rival, so to speak. It should be good.

Have a great Tuesday.
George.

thank you for the scriptures George. Psalm 37:7 Be still and wait patiently for the Lord, especially ministered to me because of a song i have been listening to called "be still"...

When the storm wages, when the emotions flare (and they do!), when the fear and doubt rear it's ugly head....the ONLY thing to do is be still!

As you have been and continue to, I have learned that ones soul can only find peace in the "secret places of the Lord's heart" Although He dwell's in us, how often we fight battles He called us not to fight and in doing so quench His precious Spirit from flowing out of us.

Thank the Lord He never gives up on us when other's can! I can't imagine any greater "daddy" than the one I know that dwells richly in my own heart!

Be still George, and continue to drink of His precious water...the fruit of His spirit is evident IN you and an inspiration to ALL. By your words you have challenged us to seek Him more deeply and more dearly.

"STILL" praying.....
