George went to have his radiation treatment this morning and then we realized that we had to see the Dr. This is Dr. Fields the radiologist. As we were meeting with him George was able to get some long awaited answers on pain management. He said to us the same things that Ruth (our sweet friend/nurse) had been telling me and I was not getting across to George. Now it all makes since and we have started what we believe to be a very effective regimine.
The last couple of days have been very emotional and I believe the level of spiritual warfare has kicked up a notch, which is fine because I believe breakthrough is on its way. You know during childbirth when a woman is in transition right before the baby is born is the most intense time. Thanks to the guys who came to pray for George the other night. Your willingness to come on a moments notice is beyond compare and I am so thankful for all of you. ( and so is George)
We had a visit today from George's parents and his uncle from Miami. We haven't seen him in seven years. The kids were 9 and 5 the last time he saw them. WOW how time can get away from us.
Again we love you all---all of you who take the time to read the blog and keep up with us and pray for us and stand with us. Only God knows the end from the beginning and He sees all things as they fit into His grand, master plan. The roles we play, and the journeys we travel are all part of something so much bigger than us.
Souls Lord we want souls saved.

Here's what the Lord had me pray for George this morning...
I love ya'll..
Cathy
"The Lord is George's rock, his fortress, and his savior;his God is his rock,in whom he finds protection.
He is his shield, the strength of his salvation and his stronghold, his high tower, his savior, the One who saves him from violence.George calls on the Lord Who is worthy to be praised and he is saved from his enemies.
The waves of death surrounded him;the floods of destruction swept over him.The grave wrapped its ropes around him. Death itself stared him in the face.
But in his distress, he cried out to the Lord,Yes, he called to his God for help. The Lord heard him from His sanctuary;GEORGE'S CRY REACHED HIS EARS.
...He reached down from heaven and rescued him. He drew him out of the deep waters. He delivered George from his powerful enemies, from those who hated him and were too strong for him. They attacked him at a moment when he was weakest, but the Lord upheld him. He led him to a place of safety. HE RESCUED GEORGE BECAUSE HE DELIGHTS IN him."

Thanks for the update on George. It was good to see you in church yesterday and having women pray for you. You are an awesome woman and I pray that the Lord will give you the strength and courage you need during this time. We are praying and believing. Love you Gayle
