What a day! I had a very tough start from early a.m. with the pain again until about 8 am – then was able to on/off catch some zzzzz’s till around 12 noon. We lined up our reservations at the hotel in Zion, Illinois, faxed some more important medical record stuff to CTCA and also received a packet from them which they had sent overnight to us. Robin hit Wally world, the library, and we both moved our stuff back to our house again.
Church was awesome! The worship as well as the word; and what made it even better was that I was able to sit up or stand up almost as well as everyone else! I have not been able to sit through a whole service in several months. Praise God.

Later this evening Robin’s parents and the kids made it in from Colorado. They have been gone a little over two weeks! Boy was that some good hugs we got from them two crumb pickers! They also have some stories to tell.

My parents are coming in tomorrow and then we 3 will be going to Illinois on Friday. Robin and the kids will be between her parents and our house I am sure while I am gone.
We don’t know if it (the medical assessment) will be for 5 days or 3 days (just yet). I am not looking forward to such a long drive, but I am looking forward to getting some more options as we look and pursue God for the healing we have asked Him for.
I read a neat quote in a book (Grace Givers) my cousin Sandra and her husband John sent to me for my 43rd birthday:

“Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb.
That’s where the fruit is.”
(H. Jackson Brown)

I am sitting here dozing off, so I had better get horizontal while I got the chance!
Love you all. George and Robin.

P.S. Please continue to pray for Dr. Hackler, Barbara (Robin's cousin), Debbie (from CVT), my mother Patsy, Ronnie - injured in the boat explosion, Kayla Smith who was shot and paralyzed from the waste down at the Downtown fireworks celebration July 4th- she is now in a rehab hospital in Chicago. Also, her friend Rob - we do not know if he is still in a coma or not. He had been shot in he head.

Hi George,
Irma thinks it would be better for you to travel to Chicago by airplane, so I went online and found Pilots for Christ, International, Inc. (http://www.pilotsforchrist.com/gethelp.htm), one of many organizations of volunteer pilots who offer free transportation.
You can also go to (http://www.aircareall.org/listings.htm#central) to find many other volunteer pilot organizations. Or try (http://www.curesearch.org/resources/resourceservice.aspx?ServiceId=3)
I googled airline tickets for cancer patients and found lots of sites. Don't know if this is something you might be interested in, but here it is.
We Love You, God Bless, Karen

Hey George,

Don't know exactly how it works, but you can get help with flights thru the American Cancer Society. If I remember right when my brother was going to Maryland they would actually pay for his flight there and also pay part of the hotel room. You need to check into this. Stay strong, we will be praying for you and your family. If there is anything we can do please let us know.

Psalm 119:116-117
Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.
Uphold me, and I will be delivered;I will always have regard for your decrees.

The Lord is faithful to the faithful.
We will trust in Him according to His promise to George!

Strengthen George,Robin and family Lord that they may be renued. Give them PEACE and REST as they TRUST you in this time. Be with George as he travels. Have your way, make the crooked places straight and the rough places smooth, as in his heart he is always RUNNING to you O'Lord! Give Robin strength and encouragement until George returns/honor the request of her heart O'Lord for she is faithful to you!

My prayer this morning for you!

Wil and I are standing, believing!

Push.
