Robin's turn....

I wanted to take this time and share with you how God has ministered to me in the last couple of days. As I was in the word yesterday, I began looking up the scriptures that George and I have been standing on. I want to share them with you so you can be praying in agreement with us according to God’s Word. Let me encourage you as God has encouraged me. While on the way to Houston we had started listening to a teaching by Dutch Sheets on faith and miracles. We weren’t able to finish it because of the quality of the CD player in the vehicle we were in. But what he said was that God will confirm His Word with signs and wonders following but we must give God something to confirm. We must put His word out there and then expect that God will honor His Word. Well yesterday we decided to locate an Assembly of God church in the area and go for service last night. We located a church fairly close and I began praying for the Lord to give us a word and to minister to us. Well He did. While in praise and worship the pastor went to the pulpit and said that no one was here by mistake and that God had something He wanted to say to us. He said that it was something that God Himself wanted to speak to each individual and asked for us all to be quiet and listen to what the Lord was telling us. Through my tears, I began writing what I felt the Lord saying to me. It went as follows:

“My Word is true and it is trustworthy. As you stand on it you will not
be denied the truth of it. As Jesus spoke words and My prophets spoke
words, they were words given to live throughout the ages and stand the
test of time and be found rock solid and true.”

God is so gracious that the worship leader sang a song during the offering that was almost exactly the words I had written down. The last sentence of the chorus was “I am waiting on my miracle.”

After last night I feel even stronger that we need to be praying God’s word back to Him and to thank Him in the fact that His word is true and He can be trusted to bring to completion the evidence of His word.

The following scriptures are the ones that we have stood on and continue to bring before our Father. Would you join with us?
Psalm 91:15,16
Psalm 103:1-5
Psalm 118:17-18
Matt. 21:21-22
John 14:11-14
John 15:7

As you look up these scriptures be encouraged that we serve a big God who is on our side and wants to bless His children and who loves us more than we can even imagine.

Thanks for standing with us,
Robin

My prayer today...

"Heavenly Father, I praise You and thank You for giving me this life so that I may learn a little something about Your nature. Knowing that You want us all to be closer to You through the Perfect Sacrifice of Your Son first and foremost, I humbly ask that once Your spiritual objectives are underway through George that You consider our hearts' desires to completely heal his earthly body so that we may share Your glory together with him for many years to come.

Let us all reside only within your will, Dear Lord.

Amen."

We're so glad God is bringing you and George to new spiritual heights...

"for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure..." (Phil. 2:13)

"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth...and He will disclose to you what is to come..." (John 16:13)

"My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love." (John 15:8-9)

We know God is receiving much pleasure in your faith and testimony...We know you are desiring and seeking His truth, and He is revealing it to you and filling you with His peace... God is indeed producing much fruit through you and George right now -- more fruit than you may possibly ever know...

Sending you two all our love...

Can't wait to worship with you this weekend...

Hi George and Robin!

Mom called tonight and gave us the info to your blog.

I want you both to know that Doug and I are praying for you. Thank you for the scriptures, we will be reading them to the Lord on your behalf! It is so awesome to see God move in your situation, what a blessing to see His hand.

Lorrie and I got to go and see Lauren play basketball Tuesday night. We had so much fun. Man, can Lauren play! We told Uncle Bob to let us know when the next game was, we are hooked! :)

Both of you are never far from my mind and thoughts and prayers. Many times throughout the day, I think of you, and send up a prayer.

Love always and forever, Kim

I don't know if you got this I tried to send it ealier but I had a problem.
I looked in the hymn devotion book that I gave you the song, to see if it had the song George quoted on your site. The song was not in the book. But, I opened to where I had put the book's cd the day I did devotions and copied that for you. I did not look where I was putting the cd but this is where it was
The song is "O, For a Faith That Will Not Shrink", the verse that was cited with the devotion was Luke 17:5-6- "the faith of a mustard seed". That caught my attention and I read the song since I had never heard of it. After reading the latest on your site, I had to share it with you.
"O for a faith that will not shrink
tho pressed by ev'ry foe,
That will not tremble on the brink of any earthly woe!
That will not murmur nor complain,
Beneath the chastening rod
But in the hour of grief or pain,
Will lean upon its God.
A faith that shines more bright and clear when tempests rage without;
That when in danger knows no fear,
In darkness feels "no doubt"!
Lord give us such a faith as this;
and then whate'er may come,
We'll taste e'en here the hallowed bliss,
Of an eternal home.
Stay filled up and continue seeking His touch. We love you and continue to pray.
Love Kaylene and family
