God is good ...

We ate at Papdeaux's Seaffod Rest. tonight. We told the kids about how good it was when Bob and Pat took us out to eat back when we first came to Houston. It was delicious. And you know we had to bring half of it home since they give you so much to eat. We then went by the store called Fiesta (I refer to it as the Fiesta Bowl). The bulk dried fruit ilse is similar to the ones you find at Whole Foods - except Whole Foods is a little classier I think. Me and Lauren can tear up a whole bag of dried Mango slices in no time.
I also called and spoke with some family tonight. Talked myself hoarse. Bryan is playing with Austin and Robin and Lauren were finishing up a table puzzle in the rec room. I hung around to make the calls and surf the web for some ideas.

God's goodness is all around us. He has shown Himself faithful when we are not, because He cannot deny Himself. He gives and gives and gives. Hopefully we can turn around and be imitators of God and do the same.
With lots of Thankfulness, George. ><:::}*>

Good morning George. Just wanted to tell you that everyone at CVT is praying for you and we miss you terribly. I am at work early, 5:30am. Trying a new schedule where on city call weeks "1" person for the week takes over call at 5am and leaves work at 1pm. That way the call person knows they will definately be done by 5am. Still makes for a long night but getting to leave those few hours early seems to help. I am taking call all day Sat. We are suppose to split it but I need the call. It will be a long day indeed. We leave for our vacation next Sat. Aug 5th to Gulf Shores. I am out of here for 7 days.Yeah!! Can't wait. Just having a few problems. The usual $$. But we will get through it.
Well gonna run for now. Keep your head up high and just remember that everyone here at home has you in there thoughts and prayers. We miss you. Take care and tell the family hello for us.

Hello there Waites family ;) We are praying for you. I just read your blog and to be honest with you I cried all the way through it. All I know is that is God is the "Great Physician", Ex. 15:26 - "He heals ALL Diseases", Ps. 103:3
and "By His Stripes we WERE HEALED"
1 Peter 2:24 & Is. 53:5. For whatever reason this is happening it's not for me to know but I do know God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think. Dad wanted me to tell you him and Susan are praying for you and he wants you to come by the office when you get back so he can lay hands on you. Stay strong and rest in the arms of the Father while He does His work. Let Him sing you a lullaby during the rough moments, while the Angels kick the devils butt! We love you, tell the family I said hello.

The Lord had given me this scripture recently and it came to mind for you George and your family during this time of intense trial...

PSALMS 27:13-14 "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait on the Lord!

You and your family are always in our prayers and will continue to be. God is in control...(always) and we are standing by to help you folks anyway we can. Please contact us in you need anything. Standing and believing with you and your family!

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy servant, George, for whom we beg the aid of Thy mercy, that, with his bodily health restored, he may give thanks to Thee in Thy church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
