fluid....

Yesterday was a long day for George and his parents. He started at the Dr. with an 8:15 appt. and didn't return home till almost 5:00 in the evening. He had almost 2 liters of fluid drained from around his right lung. Needless to say, he can breath much easier and feels much better. He does have some fluid in his abdomen but they said they would take care of that at another time.

This morning he had his breakfast outside visiting with his mom and aunts. It then started getting warm so we made our way inside. We knew George was feeling better because he was steady barking orders to me, his mom and aunts from the sofa.

Aunt Eva has whipped up some banana bread and we are having a great time visiting. There is nothing like having family around.

Hope to see some of you tomorrow at church and if you don't go to Hosanna, as George says, make it a point to visit your or a house of worship. I am sure George will be up in the balcony taking it all in. There is no better place to be on Sunday morning. Need or no need in your life, you need to find a place where you can grow spiritually, make lasting friends, and serve others. Thanks Hosanna for being all of that for and with us.

More later, Robin

Great news, Robin. Thanks for the update and thanks for being such a role model along with our cherished brother, George. We love you all. See you at Hosanna in the morning, Lord willing.

Hey, I am presently in San Antonio visting my sister. Checked your blog, sounds like a praise report to me. George, hang in there. You are strong!
Robin I enjoy reading your entries and the faith you have in the Lord! You encourage me tremendously and inspire my own faith in the Lord.
Still praying.
