the prayer of faith....

In James the Bible says 5:14 And the prayer of FAITH (KJV), and the prayer offered in FAITH (NIV) will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.

Do we believe that. My question to all of us is are we praying the prayer of faith or are we just praying because that is what Christians do. The prayer of FAITH. Later in that chapter it says that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availth much. That means to me that we must have the unfortunate ability to also prayer NON-effectual, and unfervent prayers. I was asking the Lord to show me how to pray effectual, fervent prayers. Tracie just recently told me of a revelation she felt the Lord gave her----let my word do the work. SO I SAY LET'S PRAY THE WORD.

We have been praising God in each and every small accomplishment. Wednesday George ate seconds of squash. Yesterday, he took less pain medicine. I can't wait to see what we will be praising the Lord for today. With hope look to tomorrow.

God is moving,
Robin

I can imagine that as Joshua and the people marched around the city each day, they began to wonder if anything truly was happening. But God is a great and mighty God who has a plan that will bring Him great honor and cause unbelievers to fall to their knees. Now is the time for the shout that begins to bring the walls crumbling. Each change in the symptoms is a crack in those walls. Remember that praise and worship is what always goes before the army. We will continue to sing hymns of praise for who God IS! He is the GREAT I AM! Nothing is missing, nothing has been forgotten. How incredible the day will be when George stands and says to the mountain, MOVE. The facts may say one thing but what we know is God is TRUTH. I love you guys, Stacie
